Why does Snap Finance need my date of birth?

Snap Finance reviews each Snap Partner application, and your birthday is needed for identity verification.


After a customer has applied, how long until they’ll know if they’ve been approved for Snap Finance?

Customers will know in seconds if they’ve been approved.


What does a customer need to apply with Snap Finance?

For a customer to apply for pay-over-time-options with Snap Finance, they need to

  • Be old enough to enter into a legally binding contract, which may vary by state or territory

  • Have a steady source of income (at least $1,000 per month for Snap Loan and $750 per month for Snap Leasing)

  • Have an active checking account

  • Provide a valid smartphone number and email address

Our application is easy. It takes only a few minutes for a customer to apply.


Where do customers apply with Snap Finance?

Customers can apply through the Merchant Portal, SMS, or online at snapfinance.com.

Approvals are valid for up to 90 days. Please refer to your specific approval terms.


What type of ID does Snap Finance accept?

The following IDs can be used when applying with Snap Finance.

What do I do if a customer has feedback or a complaint regarding Snap Finance?

If a customer provides any feedback to you as a merchant regarding the product or any services provided by Snap Finance, please capture the nature of the customer’s feedback or complaint using this form.


How do I get more marketing materials?

Snap provides point-of-purchase marketing materials, including signage, to our partners at no charge. To order additional materials, please contact your Client Success Manager (CSM).

Funds and fees


How do I get paid for a Snap Finance transaction?

Funding is expedited to your account, typically within 48 hours of merchandise delivery or completed invoice.


Do Snap Finance partners pay any fees?

There are merchant discounts that are mutually agreed upon, but Snap Partners do not pay any fees. Please contact your Client Success Manager (CSM) for more details.


What are some ways to collect the processing fee?

When paying the processing fee, customers generally use a credit/debit card or cash. However, this may vary based on the Snap product you use. Please check with your Client Success Manager (CSM) for assistance.
